FIRST CLUB RIDE  of the year - JANUARY 14, 2007

Traditionally the start to the year’s Classic Motorcycling has been the Brisbane HMCCQ's Breakfast run to Wivenhoe Lookout, on Mount Glorious. It always has lots of great bikes in the car park and this year was no exception and the number of bikes exceeded 186, not quite the record but an excellent rollup. No doubt some stayed away due to the poor weather conditions, as the road was slippery on the way up with some drizzly rain making riding interesting, to say the least. The organising club this year provided tea and coffee, but most people brought a thermos, together with bacon, eggs, sausages etc. to cook on the barbie. After breakfast and socialising, a group of the BSMCC members rode to the end of the Mt. Glorious Road, travelling through the Somerset Dam area to Kilcoy and then down to Woodford for lunch, before returning home via Mt. Mee and Dayboro.
